About Us
The Insurance Institute of Leeds represents those members of our professional institute who are working, or have worked, in the Leeds, Wakefield, Harrogate and Huddersfield areas.
Our Mission is to provide services to members and the local insurance communities by promoting education facilities and networking opportunities through professional and social activities.
Founded originally in 1888 as the Insurance Institute of Yorkshire we are now one of the largest Insurance Institutes in the UK with more than 2000 members.
We operate a varied programme of technical, social and personal development events and in so doing we are now seeking to broaden our appeal by engaging with the wider business community.
We are also committed to supporting charitable causes, our main priority being The Insurance Charities who carry out admirable and valuable work in this sector.
