About Us
The Chartered Quality Institute is the chartered body for quality management professionals with around 10,000 members. We exist to benefit the public by advancing education in, knowledge of and the practice of quality in industry, commerce, the public sector and the voluntary sectors. In short, the CQI exists to help make business better.
We promote the quality management approach, based on planning, measurement and improvement, which deliver the following benefits for organisations:
- improved customer satisfaction
- reduced costs and improved profitability
- improvement and innovation
- identification and management risk
- corporate care and responsibility
We recognise that these business outcomes can only be delivered by competent quality professionals, our members. Therefore, we are here to support quality professionals around the world throughout their professional and personal development. We do this by providing membership, qualifications, training and knowledge sharing and networking opportunities.
Membership of the CQI is open to anyone working or interested in quality. The different grades reflect the level of experience and qualifications in quality. Whether you are new to quality or already in a senior role as an experienced quality professional, our range of membership means that there is a grade to suit everyone.
