The roadshow will help delegates understand how to comply with the Standards proportionately, efficiently and without incurring unnecessary additional costs. Using case studies, the session with help delegates get a good understanding of how the new Clarity standards will apply to both large and small audits. There will be a particular focus on small and medium-sized entity audits, and the Auditing Practices Board's recently revised guidance in Practice Note 26, Guidance on Smaller Entity Audit Documentation will also be covered, to help further establish an efficient and robust approach to the new Standards. The roadshow has been planned for the summer of 2010 in advance of the expected audit training within firms. It will give delegates a firm grasp of the fundamental requirements of the new Clarity standards, forming a firm foundation for further Clarity training.
