About Us
The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is the professional body for those involved in the management and development of people.
We have 130,000 individual members nationally, with our headquarters in Wimbledon. The membership are allocated to one of 48 branches. West Yorkshire branch has over 3,600 members and the North Yorkshire branch has over 1800 members.
Branches provide access to learning and networking opportunities for members locally including running an active events programme. Our committee assists members with their membership and professional development, and feeds their local perspective into the national public policy debate.
