After the excellent feedback from its first update event, held in London in June 2009, the Faculty has arranged a further update for its members, in Wakefield. Those attending this event will benefit from a timely update from experts in UK GAAP and IFRS covering the many recent and forthcoming changes to standards and legislation. They will also have the opportunity to participate in the single most important debate affecting Uk private companies and the not for profit sector for a generation: the future shape of UK GAAP, including the FRSSE and SORPs, given the process of convergence with IFRS and the advent in July 2009 of a new, simplified form of IFRS aimed at SMEs.
